Plantfulness in Daylesford: From The Block to the Backyard
This year, The Block landed in the heart of Daylesford—and so did we.

With our brand partners Trojan, Northcote Pottery, and Tuscan Path featured on this season of The Block, it was a proud moment for Plantfulness to see our work represented on such a celebrated stage of Australian design, lifestyle, and innovation. But beyond the screen, it was equally important to us to be present on the ground, doing good where it matters most: in the local community.
Partnering with Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre
While cameras rolled just a few streets away, we partnered with the incredible team at Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre to create something lasting for the town—new community garden beds designed to bring people together, grow fresh produce, and foster connection.
Using products from our key partners:
- Trojan tools for construction and set-up
- Northcote Pottery planters and pots
- Tuscan Path gravel and landscaping materials
…we transformed underutilised space into a welcoming, productive garden for local residents to enjoy and learn from.
These garden beds are now a living resource for the centre’s community programs—from gardening workshops and children’s activities to conversations about sustainability, food security, and mental wellbeing.
More Than a TV Moment
Being featured on The Block was an exciting milestone for our brands—but we wanted to make sure our presence in Daylesford had a meaningful impact off-screen too.
This project represents what Plantfulness is all about: growing community from the ground up. It was a privilege to work alongside local leaders to co-create something that will continue to support and inspire Daylesford residents long after the TV season ends.
A Lasting Legacy
We’re incredibly proud of this collaboration, and grateful to Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre for welcoming us with open arms. As The Block brings national attention to this beautiful town, we’re honoured to have played a small part in creating something that truly belongs to the community.
