We’re proud to be part of the Points for Plates initiative: a powerful campaign that turns on-court action into real-world meals for people doing it tough. For every point Melbourne United scored during the 2025 season, FareShare is committed to preparing and delivering a nutritious, plant-based meal to someone in need—with Plantfulness and Melbourne United contributing hands-on support and produce to help make it happen.

Turning Points into Plant-Powered Plates

FareShare is one of Australia’s leading food rescue and meal-making organisations. Their chefs and volunteers create over 10,000 free meals a day using donated produce—ensuring good food never goes to waste.

Plantfulness is proud to be supplying fresh, rescued produce and pantry staples through our food recovery network, helping expand FareShare’s plant-based meal options. This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission: to make nutritious, sustainable food more accessible—especially to communities facing food insecurity.

The Power of Sport + Community

Through the Points for Plates campaign, Melbourne United weren’t just chasing wins on the court—they were fighting food poverty across Victoria. Every basket scored was to help someone access a healthy, filling meal, prepared with dignity and care.

The grand total of meals we’re getting to make is over 3,300!!
