Looking Back
Three Years of Growth: How Plantfulness is Cultivating Change Across Australia
When we started Plantfulness three years ago, our vision was simple but powerful: to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of communities through connection to plants, nature, and hands-on learning. What began as a grassroots movement has now grown into a national initiative — and we’re proud to say, we’re only just getting started.
Over the past three years, Plantfulness has partnered with more than 50 organisations, schools, councils, and community groups across Australia. From small primary schools in rural towns to large-scale health promotion initiatives in urban centres, our reach has expanded through the strength of collaboration and shared purpose.

Growing with Purpose
Our model is rooted in practical, scalable, and evidence-based programs. We’ve delivered:
- $146,000 worth of products to over 130 partners
- $800 worth of products to 150 schools each year, supporting hands-on learning and wellbeing-focused education
- Volunteered 1500 hours in collaboration with health services, neighborhood houses, and local governments
We’ve grown — not through advertising or flashy campaigns — but through word of mouth, real impact, and meaningful partnerships. Our community has championed us, and that’s what makes this journey so rewarding.
Partners Who Believe in Change
Some of our proudest moments have come from working alongside passionate educators, youth workers, mental health advocates, and council teams who see the value of what we bring: a low-cost, high-impact way to engage people in conversations about wellbeing.
We’ve partnered with:
- Local councils to deliver community greening projects and wellbeing workshops
- Early learning centres and primary schools through curriculum-linked garden programs
- Community health organisations delivering targeted programs for vulnerable or isolated populations
What’s Next?
As we look ahead to year four, we’re focused on three things:
- Deepening our impact — strengthening existing partnerships and building out long-term programs.
- Expanding our reach — especially in regional and under-resourced communities.
- Sowing new seeds — through innovative projects that combine sustainability, learning, and community care
- Fundraising to increase our impact – we’re working hard to get DGR status which will enable us to donate more to our partners and increase are ability to see long-term change in our communities
